Hello and welcome to my website on PMDD.  I’ve created it to share what I’ve learned about PMDD over the past ten years with the millions of women out there suffering from this dark and debilitating disorder that affects not only us, but the people we love and come into contact with each and every day.  I’ve read countless books, medical abstracts, websites and articles on the subject in my efforts to figure out why my personality seemed to undergo a drastic change for a few days each month, and this website is the results of my research.  I’m a writer, a mother, daughter, niece, friend, caretaker, and companion, just like many of you, and for the past 40 years I’ve suffered from PMDD.

For the first thirty years, I simply thought I was crazy, and for most of those years, I did everything I could to hide my PMDD so others wouldn’t think the same.  For the past ten years, I’ve known that I have PMDD, but not how to prevent the episodes from coming around like clockwork, wreaking all sorts of havoc in my personal and professional life.  For the past two, I’ve immersed myself in the subject, and found out more about PMDD than I ever wanted to know, but have found all of it invaluable--even the parts that didn’t work for me personally--in my efforts to bring my unruly hormones into balance.

Since PMDD affects every woman differently, and there is no one specific treatment that will work for everyone, I invite you to browse through whatever parts of the site you feel you may be able to benefit from, and if you have any questions or information you would like to have clarified or to contribute, please contact me at info@livingwithpmdd.com

An index of the full site can be found here.  This website is a work in progress, and new content will be added as it is completed, so please bear with me while the pages are still under construction.  If a tab doesn't seem to work, that page isn't completed yet.

lillyIf you would like to have some of this information in PDF form, various pamphlets will be available for downloading soon.  You’ll find them listed in the Resources section of the website as they become available, so please check back periodically.

Until then, I hope the information provided here will be of some help to you and yours, and may God continue to guide you on your journey to health and wellness.  Like the water lily, with the right information, and the strength and determination to succeed, you too can arise from the mud and muck of your PMDD into a life filled with joy and beauty.

Thank you for stopping by,

Peace and Blessings,
